What RoleMonitor is

RoleMonitor monitors public career pages of technology companies, aggregates job listings, and recommends roles based on your resume and preferences. RoleMonitor is not an employer, recruiter, or job board. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or hiring outcomes. Apply links take you to third-party employer sites.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Your account

You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose risk to the Service or other users.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without permission
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or access controls
• Upload malware, false information, or content you do not have rights to share
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users' experience
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent

Job listings and recommendations

Job information is sourced from employer career sites and may be incomplete, outdated, or change without notice. Match scores and explanations are automated aids, not guarantees of fit or availability. You should verify role details on the employer's site before applying. RoleMonitor is not responsible for third-party hiring processes or decisions.

Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by RoleMonitor or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (such as your resume). You grant us a limited license to use that content to operate and improve the Service, including generating recommendations and sending emails you request.

Email and communications

By creating an account, you may receive transactional emails related to the Service, including daily job recommendations when matches are available. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails if we send them; core service emails may still be required to operate your account.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT JOB LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROLEMONITOR AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoleMonitor from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction apply.
